FAAP 2007 Community Service at Miryam's

FAAP volunteers went to the shelter to provide some needed work and to give cheer to its residents. The workers took down two christmas trees, stored the ornaments, sorted the pantry, prepared and served lunch, and distributed toiletry bags that they had brought with them.

About Miryam's
Miryam's provides sanctuary, care, service and community to homeless women whose capacity to care for themselves is significantly impaired by chronic mental illness. The programs include Hospitality and Day Care Program, Specialized Residence Program, Next Step Bridge Housing Program, and Aftercare Program.
