FAAP 2007 Awards and Scholarships Committee

Duties:
- Study, review, and propose any award for any individual or group in the Greater Pittsburgh Area based on their contribution to charitable activities or their involvement in the propagation of an understanding of Filipino culture.
- Review and recommend candidates for the Simplicio Maramba Scholarship Award or any other awards created by the Board of Directors.
Goals for 2007:
- Administer and announce recipient of Simplicio Maramba Scholarship Award. Offer Maramba Scholarship Award to eligible FAAP High School applicant, October 2007.
- Select nominees to Outstanding Asian American Student Awards for the Federal Executive Board of Pittsburgh.
